Analysis of the demographic changes of the last half century in Iran and its effects on the defense-military power

Abstract

Based , population has always been considered one of the components of national power and authority, and any change in its quality and quantity will cause changes in the military and defense power of countries. The present article, entitled "Analysis of demographic developments of the past half century and its effects on defense-military power", is of the type of applied research and examines the impact of the evolution and change of the population rate in the three areas of population, national power and military power. Iran has paid in the last half century. Using the information obtained from library and field methods, this article tries to resolve the concerns explained in the research text in a mixed way, and in this regard, after analyzing the literature, 12 indicators related to the subject were identified. In the form of statistical research questions and in the form of a questionnaire, among 120 employees, commanders and officials of the four forces and subordinate organizations of the Iranian Armed Forces, who were randomly, purposefully and quota-chosen, the distribution that the results obtained from the methods of descriptive statistics (statistical index tables, frequency distribution and graph) and inferential statistics (Khedo and Friedman test) show the confirmation of the research hypothesis that the tangible impact of the young population with freshness and ability, as the main and basic component in Advancement of various tasks and missions defined in various sectors of defense industries and military, combat and operational units and improvement of the country's defense-military power.
