Abstract

Teleology is one of the basic issues in every subject. One of the basic questions is what will the great emphasis on population growth ultimately lead to? And what is the desired increase in population according to the Holy Quran? In this article, the meaning of population is not only the category of having children, therefore, firstly, the ratio of "having children", "population" and "society" is explained, and then, emphasizing the opinions of Allameh Tabatabai, the teleology of population increase is examined. From Allameh's point of view, society is an independent identity that cannot be reduced to individuals. Having children is a prelude to population growth, provided that they become a society by finding an independent identity. From the perspective of the Qur'an and with consideration in Surahs Juma, Al-Munafiqun and Al-Hadid, this society will achieve its desired goal when it finds its identity around the guardian of God. The society formed around God's guardian can realize the purpose of sending prophets, i.e., establishing installments and justice, under two conditions, which are carefully examined in Surah Mubarak Hadid. Opponents of justice are trying to prevent such an identified community from forming around God; Either by reducing the population, or by dispersing the society around God's guardian. In this article, while examining the purpose of increasing the population, it is devoted to the explanation of the conspiracy of the opponents of the realization of the divine society and the way to deal with these conspiracies from the perspective of the Qur'an.
